a haven of warmth

warm welcomefriendly staffdated decor
The staff provided a warm welcome. The reception area was always staffed to assist with advice and suggestions. the breakfast service included excellent options. It was a continental style breakfast, ample and good. i appreciated the fresh fruits, croissants, toast, and homemade jam served at my table. the hosts offered warm and cute service.
The room felt a bit dated, resembling decor from the 1970s. The decor might benefit from some updating. the soundproofing in my room was not ideal, as i could hear conversations from other guests. this was a minor issue, yet better sound insulation would be welcome.

The breakfast offered a lot of choices. portions were generous. i also liked the endless supply of fruit juice and coffee. the location was very convenient. howard davis park is right across the street. It was great for a quick walk. the town centre was also a short walk away, convenient for dining out. i thought the decor in the breakfast room was interesting. our room was quiet during the night.
The room needed updating. It seemed worn. the bathroom seemed outdated. it also lacked amenities like toilet paper and shampoo. the shower was so small that maneuvering to clean myself was difficult. i could only get hot water in the shower, so i rinsed off soap using cups from the sink.
